External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, sitting almost at the last row of the United Nations General Assembly. The Foreign Minister is representing The Republic of India at the United Nations 78th General Assembly Session.

All Indians and many people including journalists, experts, and analysts were excited about his speech at the UNGA. 

His speech covered various topics including the Goal of India to become a "Vishwa Mitra" a friend of the world, the achievements of India at successfully conducting the G20 Summit in New Delhi, India's readiness to help countries and people all over the world in need to help, expansion of the United Nations Security Council, Application of rules to all nations equally, distribution of Power, equal representation, etc.

The minister also pointed out that terrorism, extremism, and violence are a threat to global security and India is taking every possible action to counter.

The minister has also pressed on the expansion of the Security Council and warned that the United Nations should have equal representation if it wants to keep its status as a credible organization.

EAM Jaishankar did not comment on the recent Diplomatic row with Canada.
